It is difficult to accept the news that you are gone. It seems easy to imagine you still working in your office. I definitely wouldn't be at Denbigh if it weren't for you. You invited me to the event to learn more about teaching, encouraged me to apply to train to be a History teacher, reopening the applications for me even though they had closed and at the end of my training year rang to offer me a job! I was touched to speak to you recently and hear that you remembered it still even though it was several years ago. I really appreciated the little touches you implemented recently such as the cards of thanks on World Teachers' Day and the birthday postcards from you. It made a difference.
