An infectious enthusiasm

During the 16 years of working at Denbigh School you have passed many 'jobettes' my way.  Whatever the job you were always bursting with an infectious enthusiasm which inspired me.

Your passion for science especially biology was clear to see and you shared this in the most amazing ways.  In particular you launched the STEM Lecture Programme and each year welcomed top professors to the School.  You never gave up on securing the very best lectures, not only for Denbigh students but for the whole of Milton Keynes and beyond, forming a special bond with the elder members of the community too.

As a huge fan of technology you always had the latest gadgets.  I was grateful not to be left behind as you also challenged those around you to keep up (although I might not have thought that at the time!)

More recently I have enjoyed the photographs you shared.  You certainly had a flare for capturing the beauty of nature whether it be a new bloom in your garden, an insect busy at work or your cute dog.  Around 5 years ago I recall you winning a local photography competition.  Always eager to join community celebrations you bagged the top spot for your picture of graffiti near Wolverton!

I struggle to believe you have passed at such a young age and feel the huge loss of your presence and sense of humour at Denbigh.  Your outstanding work will continue in the solid foundations and milestones set over the years - you and your family should feel very proud.

I send my love and strength to Corinne and your family.
