I happened to be involved in the exchange programme with Denbigh School twice as a stand-in. On both of these iccasions I had the pleasure of enjoying a lovely coffee with Mr. Squires and having lively conversations about the differing developments within the British and German school systems. I was fascinated by his vivid interest in the exchange programme. His death is a huge loss. Rest in Peace Mr. Squires
