A fellow northerner, even if from the wrong side of the Pennines…. With a passionate work ethic and with strong family values, you have left an impressive legacy, which many can only aspire to. Working alongside you for 10 years at Denbigh was a privilege. You always listened and were 100% supportive, not only as a colleague, but as a teacher and headteacher to my children. One son said that he would never have achieved the grade he did in his GCSE Biology if he didn’t have you as a teacher. You also kindly offered a work placement to my other son to assist him with a university module. You went above and beyond. I will miss your terrible mock scouse accent when you said ta-ra to me at the end of the day…. Deborah
